Call Handling – Voicemail

Call Handling Tab

 

  • Shows options for how calls to this extension are handled when called directly.
  • Also includes settings related to voicemail.

My Primary Mailbox

 

  • This is the mailbox that receives calls if the extension is not answered.
  • Can be set to either a group voicemail or an individual mailbox.
  • Select the mailbox by clicking the dropdown arrow to view all available mailboxes.

Send Missed Call Alert

 

  • Sends an email notification if a call is missed and goes to voicemail.
  • The alert is sent even if the caller does not leave a voicemail.
  • These alerts are separate from voicemail-to-email messages.
  • To add an email:
    • Enter the email address in the “Send email to” field.
    • Click the orange + button to add it.
  • Added email addresses will appear in the grey box on the right.
  • Multiple email addresses can be added to receive missed call alerts.
